Fourth-generation rice farmers Kyle and Kane Fontenot have a mission – to grow the highest quality Louisiana rice by using the same passion and work ethic they learned from their father. These two brothers joined together in 1993 to begin farming and later established K & K Farms which has grown to include 2,300 acres of rice farms as well as crawfish and cattle. In addition to providing high-quality food to families across the U.S., the Fontenot brothers also have plans for their own family – to leave their land more sustainable so their children can continue the family farming tradition.
