Four generations of rice farmers is quite the family tradition – and that’s exactly what it is for the Thibodeaux family. This family business started with Ovey Thibodeaux’s rice farm in 1920. His son Emery started farming rice on 1,200 acres in the Morse-Midland area of Louisiana in 1956, and Emery’s son Randy joined him in 1976. Randy then joined with his brothers Dale and Steve to start Thibodeaux Brothers Farm which is now Thibodeaux Ag Group – encompassing 11,000 acres and including fourth generation rice farmer, Ross Thibodeaux. That’s a lot of Thibodeaux dedication to producing the finest rice in the world.
